We invite you to join us by finding a volunteer opportunity that’s right for you.
From law enforcement to our volunteers, our team surrounds itself with committed, child-serving community members. The Advocacy Center relies on volunteers and community advocates to make sure every child and family get the help they deserve.
Lotus League

College Student Volunteers
If you are a college student needing to complete volunteer hours for a course, we offer training and volunteer opportunities each semester.
Team Adoption Program
Provide care and support for the teams that directly serve the victims of child abuse (e.g., Child Protective Services, Counseling Staff, Forensic Interview Team, etc.) This is a great project for church and neighborhood groups.

The Advocacy Center ensures children who have sustained abuse and their non-offending family members have access to the items they need through generous donations. Please note the Advocacy Center accepts new items for our Rainbow Room. To donate used items, please call 1-888-891-4344 to schedule a pick-up.

Children and families impacted by abuse are not alone.
They are seen and heard by hundreds of local professionals dedicated to protecting children across the state of Texas. These professionals jointly investigate and prosecute child abuse cases while supporting the nearly 60,000 children and their families with services and healing through local children’s advocacy centers. Every April, in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Children’s Advocacy Center raises public awareness of child abuse and neglect. We commit efforts and resources to protect children, strengthen families, and promote community involvement through activities that support the cause.
